When it comes to XBOX360 VS PLAYSTATION 3 here are the pros and cons:

I was shocked at how good the graphics are. I really didn't think there was a big difference between last generation and the current generation, but I can see now that there is. One of my neighbors brought over the NCAA 10, and the difference between it and my PS2 NCAA 10 is like night and day. I'm one of the strange ones that prefers the 360 controller. I have big hands, it fits well, and I like the layout of their analog controllers better than the Sony controllers, though I guess is isn't a big difference. The controller is nice though. Hardly no noise level and no heating up. So, so far, the Jasper must be doing its job. Overall, I'm very pleased with it and at least feel positive about this generation of consoles, as can be seen by pre-ordering the PS3 slim. I have to say that this xbox is much better than the earlier versions. It is a little quieter and doesn't overheat,I've played for 10 hours straight with no RROD, awesome. |
You'll get FREE Blu-Ray capabilities right out of the box. |

| Why would anyone see the value in purchasing an XBOX: You can't upgrade the hard drive...most XBOX consoles don't come with hard drives. There is no built in wi-fi...it will cost you $99. You must pay for online service if you don't want to get bombarded with ads...it will cost you $50 annually. You can't watch high definition blu-ray movies on it. The games are limited to the size of a DVD at 9gb...the PS3 can store 50gb on the blu-ray disc. The controllers are infrared...ancient technology and takes batteries....it will cost you to constantly replace the batteries. The Jasper is still plagued by the constant failure of the RROD...plan on sending your unit in for constant repairs/replacements...the XBOX has overt a 50% failure rate. |
My PS3 died after about 1 year of owning it - all of a sudden it stopped playing games & blu-ray movies. Did some research and found that my only mistake was turning off the console with a game disc inside, which apparently fries the laser diode inside...who doesn't do that? Like many people i figured if you're going to spend $300 bucks on a blu ray why wouldn't you just buy a PS3? I talked to several people and they agreed. I've even read reviews by people who suggest this. Buy it securely from AMAZON our trusted supplier
